Clay connections
Community outreach program dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals to create clay art, discover the joy of creating, and contribute to a more connected and enriched community.
Currently, our classes focus on including adults with special needs and their caregivers, fostering an inclusive environment for all.
SESSIONS
We offer two main sessions each year: A Fall and a Spring session, each lasting 10 weeks. Classes are held weekly on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, as well as a monthly Saturday class from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, both hosted here at the BBCS.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Our current participants include members of the Special Hearts in the Arts program, caregivers, and other adults with special needs or "different abilities." Clay Connections is an ongoing project designed with flexibility to engage and inspire creativity among participants with special needs in our local community and beyond.
COST
Cost: $5.00 per class. Thanks to grants, most of the costs for materials, instruction, and support are covered, making participation accessible for everyone.
